MM Navigator
Support
Help with MM Navigator, your saved records, and app features.
Contact support
For help with MM Navigator, email support+navigator@mmsocial.app.
Please include your iPhone model, iOS version, app version, and what you were doing when the issue occurred. Find the app version in Settings → About MM Navigator. Screenshots can help, but crop or hide private notes and other personal information first. Please do not send passwords.
For an app issue, choose Settings → Here to help → Report a bug. It prepares an email with the app version, build number, iOS version, and prompts for describing the problem. Review and send it from your email app, and attach a screenshot there if helpful. If an email app cannot open, use Copy bug report and paste it into your preferred email service.
What we can help with
- Mood check-ins, optional notes, custom metrics, and trends.
- Cleanse planning, progress, and reminders.
- Shopping lists, recipes, drink tracking, and saved quotes.
- Backup export and restore, news preferences, and release countdowns.
- Troublemaker quiz progress, app issues, and feedback.
- Privacy questions and help removing saved data.
Reminders
Check that the reminders you want are enabled in MM Navigator and that notifications are allowed for MM Navigator in iPhone settings. Focus modes and notification settings can affect when alerts appear. Cleanse reminders also depend on the active plan and completed shopping step.
Under Settings → Reminders, choose your mood and daily quote reminder times. Daily quotes can draw from the full quote collection or only your saved favorites. If favorites-only reminders are selected and no quotes are saved, reminders pause until you save a favorite. Adjust cleanse step times using the clock on the Home cleanse card.
News and countdowns
News is off by default. Enable it under Settings → Personalize → Show news on Home. Swipe between stories or pause automatic rotation. An active cleanse replaces the news banner until that cleanse card is dismissed.
Open Countdowns on Home in Personalize to add or remove any available release. Countdowns work with news turned off and while a cleanse is active. When a saved release arrives, its celebration appears the next time Home is visible; countdowns do not send a push notification.
Release stories expire 14 days after their release date, or sooner if removed from the feed. After release, you can also open a story and choose Dismiss this story. To undo that choice, go to Settings → Personalize → Hidden news stories and select Restore story. Only stories that are still available can be restored. Restoring a story does not enable news if you have it turned off.
If a new announcement has not appeared, check your connection and open the app again later. Feed refreshes are limited to about once every 15 minutes while the app is running. Offline, the app keeps its last available stories. Updating the feed does not send a notification.
Statistics date ranges
Open Settings → Your progress → Mood & wellbeing and choose a time period or Custom date range. Custom ranges include both the From and Through dates. The app remembers your selection when you return, including after closing and reopening it. Preset periods move with today's date; custom dates stay fixed. If a range has no saved check-ins, there are no averages to display for that period.
Editing or deleting mood notes
Open the saved day in Mood Tracker to edit its check-in or delete it. You can remove the note while keeping the ratings. To remove all saved ratings and notes, use Reset mood history in Mood Tracker.
Local data and backups
MM Navigator does not require an account, and we do not have a server copy of your app records to restore. Avoid deleting the app as a troubleshooting step if you want to keep your history. Device backups may contain app data, depending on your settings.
- Open Settings → Backups & data → Export backup and save the file in Files, iCloud Drive, or another location you choose. Make a fresh backup before changing phones or deleting the app.
- To restore, open Restore from backup, select your file, and review its date and check-in count before confirming. Restoring replaces the MM Navigator records and preferences currently on that iPhone.
- If you need the data from before your most recent restore, use Export copy from before last restore. You can then restore that exported file using the same process.
Backup files can contain personal notes and are not password protected. Keep them private. This is a manual file transfer, not automatic cloud sync. After restoring, check reminder preferences and notification permission on that iPhone. If the app rejects a file, keep it and contact support; your current records are not replaced by a failed validation.
If you want to remove all local MM Navigator records, use Delete App in iPhone settings. Offload App keeps app data, and Reset statistics does not erase everything. Exported backups remain wherever you saved or shared them until those copies are deleted. See the MM Navigator privacy policy for details about backups and deletion.
Support email and privacy
Contacting support shares only the information you choose to send through email; your app records are not automatically attached. To ask about or request deletion of earlier support correspondence, email the same address and mention MM Navigator.
Health questions
MM Navigator support can help with the app's features, but cannot provide personal medical advice. Contact a qualified healthcare professional for questions about symptoms, treatment, or whether a cleanse is appropriate for you.
