MM Social is a social connection app for people interested in the Medical Medium community. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us about your information.

Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, date of birth or age-related information, gender, dating preferences, location details, interests, profile prompts, profile photos, messages, reports, blocks, likes, passes, and account deletion requests.

We may also collect technical information needed to operate the app, including authentication identifiers, device identifiers, push notification tokens, app activity related to matches and messages, timestamps, diagnostics, and security logs.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts, display profiles, suggest connections, enable likes, matches, messages, blocking, reporting, moderation, account deletion, support, safety workflows, and push notifications.

Photos, Messages, and User Content

Profile photos, profile text, chat messages, voice notes, reports, and other user content may be stored and processed so the app can provide matching, messaging, moderation, and safety features. User content may be reviewed when needed to enforce safety rules, investigate reports, or operate the service.

Location Information

MM Social may use location information you provide during onboarding or profile setup to support profile discovery and distance-related features. Do not provide location information you do not want used for these purposes.

Service Providers

We use service providers to operate MM Social, including Firebase and Google services for authentication, database storage, file storage, cloud functions, push notifications, analytics or diagnostics, and related infrastructure. If Google Sign-In or phone authentication is enabled, those providers may process information needed to authenticate your account.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the app, when needed for legal compliance, to protect users and the service, or as part of moderation and safety workflows.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to operate MM Social, provide support, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain safety and security. Some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited period after deletion.

Account Deletion

You can request account deletion in the app where the feature is available, or by contacting us at support@mmsocial.app. We may need information to verify your request before deleting account data.

Your Choices

You can update profile information in the app, manage notification permissions through your device settings, block or report users in the app, and contact us for privacy or account questions.

Children

MM Social is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice in the app or by other reasonable means.
