MM Navigator
Privacy Policy
How MM Navigator stores your information and the choices you control.
Effective date: September 28, 2026
Your information at a glance
MM Navigator works without an account. Your mood ratings, optional notes, and other app records are stored on your device. MM Navigator does not send these records to us or connect them to an MM Social account.
Information stored in MM Navigator
The app saves information you enter and settings you choose so you can return to your records. This includes:
- Mood, energy and symptom ratings, optional notes, custom mood metrics, and check-in dates.
- Drink totals and streaks, cleanse selections, start dates, schedules, completed steps, and progress history.
- Shopping lists, recipe selections, saved quotes, quiz progress, and app preferences.
- Reminder choices, saved statistics date ranges, news preferences, selected countdowns, dismissed stories, and release celebrations already shown.
Notes and custom metrics are optional. You can use the mood tracker without adding a note. MM Navigator does not require your name, email address, or a login, and it does not access Apple Health data, your location, contacts, camera, or microphone.
Where your app data goes
MM Navigator does not operate an online account or cloud-sync service for these records. The app does not upload your mood information, notes, cleanse history, or shopping lists to developer-operated servers. It does not include third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs, and we do not sell or use your app records for advertising.
Your device settings may allow Apple to include app data in an iCloud or computer backup, or transfer it to another device. Those services are controlled by you and Apple; they do not give us access to your records. You can manage backups in your Apple device or computer settings. Apple may separately process diagnostics under the device analytics settings you choose.
Backup files you choose to save
In Settings → Backups & data, you can export your MM Navigator records and preferences to a file and restore a file you select. Backups can include mood notes, check-ins, progress, shopping lists, favorite quotes, and preferences. The files are not password protected; keep them somewhere private and share them only with people you intend to have access.
You choose where to save the file using Files. If you choose iCloud Drive or another storage provider, that provider handles the copy under its own terms and privacy policy. MM Navigator does not send these backups to the developer. This is a manual backup, not automatic synchronization between devices.
Restoring a backup replaces the app's saved records and preferences after your confirmation. MM Navigator keeps a copy from immediately before the most recent restore, which you can export from the same screen. Notification permission remains controlled separately by iPhone settings.
Optional reminders
If you allow notifications, MM Navigator schedules mood check-ins, cleanse steps, and daily quote reminders locally on your device. Daily quotes can use the full collection or only your saved favorites; those selections stay on your device. You can turn reminders off in the app or change notification permission in your device settings. Depending on your notification settings, reminder text may appear on your lock screen.
Optional news and countdowns
News on Home is off by default. When you enable news, open news or countdown settings, or keep saved countdowns on Home, MM Navigator may download a public news file from mmsocial.app. A local copy keeps stories available offline. News can include book releases and announcements about MM Social.
News requests do not include your mood records, notes, shopping lists, favorite quotes, selected countdowns, or dismissed stories. Google Firebase Hosting may process normal request information, such as your IP address and the requested file, to deliver and secure the feed. News preferences, countdown selections, and dismissal history remain on your device and can be included in your chosen backup file.
Opening a story's links takes you to external services, such as a publisher's website or the App Store. Those services handle your visit under their own privacy policies. Countdown release celebrations happen inside MM Navigator; they are not push notifications.
Support email
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name provided by your email service, and the message or attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot, and handle your request. Sending email is optional and uses your email provider and our email provider, Google Gmail. App records are not automatically attached.
Please avoid sending private mood notes or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request. We keep support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your request and follow-up questions, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete that correspondence using the contact address below, subject to any required retention.
Visiting these web pages
The MM Navigator privacy and support pages are hosted on mmsocial.app using Google Firebase Hosting. When you visit, the hosting provider may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and requested page to deliver and secure the website. These pages do not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or forms that collect your app records.
Keeping and deleting your information
Records remain in the app until you edit or delete them, use an applicable reset control, or delete the app. In Mood Tracker, you can delete an individual saved check-in or use Reset mood history to remove saved ratings and notes. Shopping-list controls let you remove items or clear a list.
The Reset statistics control in Settings is not a complete deletion of all app data. To remove all locally stored MM Navigator data, use Delete App in iPhone settings; offloading the app keeps its data. Existing device backups may retain earlier copies until you manage or delete those backups. Exported backup files also remain wherever you saved or shared them until you delete those copies. Deleting the app or resetting statistics does not delete exported files. Restoring a backup may restore app records.
We cannot retrieve or erase records stored only on your device. For questions about deleting local data, or to request access to, correction of, or deletion of support correspondence, contact us.
Security
App records use the storage protections provided by iOS. Protect your device and backups with appropriate security settings. No storage or email system can guarantee absolute security.
Policy updates
We will update this page and its effective date if MM Navigator's data practices change. New features that require permission will request it as appropriate.
